Maria Teresa Zarama and family have expressed their appreciation for the many messages of prayer and sympathy sent to them on the passing of Rafael Zarama, the father of Bishop Luis R. Zarama.

To all of you who have filled our hearts in these days of loss with wonderful words of sympathy, offering of prayers and the most precious gift of all, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered for the repose of the soul of Rafael.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude at the amount of response to the simple passing of my husband Rafael. In every message I read, I find words of comfort and happiness because you made me realize the wonders of an afterlife and how we are enlivened with the power of the resurrection.
