She also served as assistant superintendent of schools in the Diocese of Wilmington, Del.

She is now interim superintendent of schools in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, Mo. Sister Patricia has over 35 years of experience in Catholic education and holds a doctorate in educational administration and supervision from Georgia State University and a master of arts degree as a reading specialist from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
