First Archdiocesan Education Banquet To Be Held

Published January 10, 2008

The banquet, which will be held at Cobb Galleria Centre, Atlanta, will begin at 5 p.m. with a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory. A social reception is scheduled to follow at 6 p.m., with the program and dinner beginning at 7 p.m.

Archbishop Gregory will be the keynote speaker and will present a service award during the banquet to an outstanding employee from each of the 18 archdiocesan and six independent Catholic schools. The awards are not only meant to recognize achievement in education but to celebrate the living of Catholic principles as well.

Proceeds from the banquet will be designated for tuition assistance at archdiocesan schools. All are invited to attend. Tickets are available for $85 individual; $160 couple; or $800 for a table of 10.
