Roswell Mission Will Focus On Divine Mercy, St. Faustina

Published December 6, 2007

St. Peter Chanel Church will host Sister Mary Wendy and Sister Mary Grace of the Sisters of Reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus for an Advent mission on Saturday, Dec. 8, through Wednesday, Dec. 12. The sisters will present the message of Divine Mercy as given by Jesus Christ to St. Faustina. The message of Divine Mercy, endorsed by Pope John Paul II, leads to a deeper appreciation for the sacraments of mercy—the Holy Eucharist and reconciliation.

Sister Mary Wendy and Sister Mary Grace will be speaking at all Masses on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8-9, and will give a talk at 7 p.m. on the evenings of Monday to Wednesday, Dec. 10-12. The last evening will include a penance service and reconciliation.

All are invited to meet the sisters and hear the special one-hour talk followed by veneration of a first-class relic of St. Faustina. Catholics are encouraged to bring family and friends and learn more about this beautiful devotion to the mercy of God.

St. Peter Chanel Church is located at 11330 Woodstock Road, Roswell.
