Tyrone School Wins In Track And Field

Our Lady of Victory School boys and girls teams won first place at the Private Athletic Conference (PAC) Track and Field Championship meet held recently at Our Lady of Mercy High School in Fairburn.

The PAC is an association of private schools located on the south side of Atlanta that compete against each other in middle school athletics. The meet included such events as short and long distance runs ranging from 100-meter dashes to one-mile distance runs. Other events in the competition included the long jump, triple jump, shot put and the discus. Receiving points based on their overall performance in each event, OLV athletes were proud to take home the first place trophy.

Other schools competing included St. Paul Lutheran School, Peachtree City; Trinity Christian School, Sharpsburg; Griffin Christian Academy, Fayetteville; St. John the Evangelist School, Hapeville; and The Bedford School, Fairburn.
