Tony Shalhoub Makes Cameo Appearance At CTK School

Tony Shalhoub, star of the hit television series “Monk,” made a cameo appearance in early March at Christ the King School while in town for the opening of his new movie “Made Up.”

He visited the middle school classes and spoke with students about his TV series, his movies, his theatre work, his family and his education. Shalhoub was recently awarded Golden Globe, Emmy and Screen Actors Guild awards for his television series. He has also appeared in the movies “Big Night,” “Spy Kids,” “Thirteen Ghosts” and “Made Up.” which marked his directorial debut, as well as many others.

His sisters, Susan Larkin, a local actress and administrative coordinator at CTKS, and Jane Shalhoub, the school’s middle school language arts teacher, arranged the visit.
