Published September 19, 2014

ATLANTA—The annual White Mass, honoring Catholic health care professionals, will be Thursday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of Christ the King, located at 2699 Peachtree Road, NE in Atlanta.

In recognition of the dedicated work of Catholic physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals, the Archdiocese of Atlanta invites all those directly involved in patient care to the White Mass celebration. The Mass is associated with St. Luke, the patron of physicians and surgeons, whose feast day is Oct. 18.

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will celebrate the Mass, which will be followed by a dessert reception in Kenny Hall.

To attend, please RSVP for the reception to Joy Place by email to: jplace@archatl.com.
