Catholic-Orthodox ecumenical gathering to mark the Nativity

ATLANTA—The Catholic-Orthodox Ecumenical Gathering will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, located at 2500 Clairmont Road, NE, in Atlanta.
Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory and His Eminence Alexios, Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Atlanta, will officiate and preach. All are invited to attend.
The theme of the gathering is “Celebrating the Nativity of the Lord in a Broken World.”
Members of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta, the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, and of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle (Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople), have been invited to participate.
A reception will follow the gathering.
