St. Pius X Hosts Annual Basketball Tournament

St. Pius X High School will host its eighth annual Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament on Dec. 27, 28 and 29. Twelve teams from five states will participate in 18 competitive basketball games for men and women.

The participating girls teams include St. Pius X High School; Bishop Kenny High School, Jacksonville, Fla.; Milton High School, Alpharetta; and Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Miami.

The competing boys teams are St. Pius X High School; Belen Jesuit High School, Miami; Brother Martin High School, New Orleans; Bishop Kenny High School; Bishop Verot High School, Fort Myers, Fla.; Roger Bacon High School, Cincinnati; St. Vincent Pallotti High School, Laurel, Md.; and Mandeville High School, Mandeville, La.

In its eighth year, the St. Pius X Christmas Classic is becoming widely known as one of the premier Catholic high school basketball tournaments in the country.

Starting times for the games are Dec. 27 from 3:30-8 p.m., Dec. 28 from 4-8 p.m. and Dec. 29 from 2-8 p.m.

Tickets to attend the games will be sold at the door for $5.
