Published diciembre 13, 2007  | Available In English

The students at Our Lady of Victory School are marking the holiday season by inviting the community to a prayer service and a re-creation of the Nativity.

The young people will participate in an Advent prayer service on Thursday, Dec. 20, at 9 a.m. in the school gymnasium.

This service will reflect on the importance of the Advent season in preparation for the coming of the Christ child. The symbols of the Jesse Tree and how it teaches the family tree of Christ will be featured.

On Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at 8:15 a.m., the school gym is to be turned into a stable as the students put on the annual living Nativity program.

The pre-kindergarten class will present the re-enactment of the first Christmas. The kindergarten “angel” choir will sing a lullaby to the newborn King. This joyful celebration celebrates the true meaning of Christmas.
