All Saints Parish Mission Begins Sunday, Jan. 30

Published December 27, 2005

Conventual Franciscan Friar Father Jude Michael Krill will lead a mission at All Saints Church in Dunwoody from Sunday, Jan. 30, through Tuesday, Feb. 1.

The theme of the mission is “Finding Our Security in God.” A description of the mission’s focus states that, as Christians “we are called to hear the voice of God that says ‘My grace is enough.’”

“The prayer for God’s mercy comes from the heart that knows that human brokenness is not a fatal condition but a moment for us to allow Jesus to open our eyes, our ears and our hearts and discover what lies beyond our own perceptions.”

“The disciples of Jesus learned that they are forgiven, healed and loved,” the mission theme states, and those who follow Christ are invited to experience this and to make it evident in their actions and in their lives to others.

Father Krill has been a priest for over 20 years whose apostolate has been in education on the college level. He is currently ministering as chaplain and professor of theology and English at Neumann College in Aston, Pa.

Each night’s session of the mission will begin at 7 p.m. All are invited. On Monday night, Jan. 31, there will be a penance service, with over 25 priests on hand to hear confessions.
