MARIETTA—The St. Joseph Church St. Vincent de Paul Society and Knights of Columbus Council 4599 distributed 181 Thanksgiving food baskets, which included thousands of pounds of food, to local Cobb County families in need Thanksgiving week. This is an annual event for the outreach ministries of St. Joseph Church.

Through generous contributions from the church parishioners, SVdP and the Knights were able to collect enough food to provide a complete dinner to the 181 families, a total of 794 children and adults.

The parish SVdP conference and Knights of Columbus council expressed thanks to all those who contributed and volunteered to make this year’s event a success.
