Five Marist priests who serve in the Archdiocese of Atlanta are celebrating priesthood anniversaries between three and four decades this year. Father Ralph F. Olek, SM, superior of the Marist community at Marist School and English teacher, is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his ordination. He was ordained on June 15, 1974. The other four priests are celebrating the 35th anniversary of their ordinations. Father Joel M. Konzen, SM, principal of Marist School, and Father William F. Rowland, SM, assistant to the president of Marist School, were ordained on May 19, 1979. Father James D. Duffy, SM, pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Atlanta, was ordained on May 5, 1979, and Father John H. Harhager, SM, president of Marist School, was ordained a Marist priest on April 28, 1979.
