CTK Students Aid Midtown Assistance Center
Published December 6, 2012
The seventh grade at the Cathedral of Christ the King School recently organized a food drive to support the Midtown Assistance Center. They delivered more than 300 grocery bags, a record donation. The effort has taken place yearly since 1985.
The students met each morning for a week to collect, organize and store food items donated by student families. They delivered the food and worked at the Midtown Assistance Center facility, sorting and shelving the items.
Christ the King School is proud to hold the record among all Atlanta organizations for the longest continuous service to Midtown Assistance Center, according to a news release.
