Priest Assignments

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory has announced the following new priest assignments.

First Pastoral Assignments

Father Joshua Allen, ordained June 18 to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, has been given his first pastoral assignment as a parochial vicar at St. Theresa Church, Douglasville, for the months of July and August 2011. In September 2011 he will return to the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy, for graduate studies. This assignment is effective July 7.

Father Charles Okeke, ordained June 18 to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, has been given his first pastoral assignment as a parochial vicar at St. Benedict Church, Johns Creek. This assignment is effective July 7.

Father Juan Jose Teran Sanchez, ordained June 18 to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, has been given his first pastoral assignment as a parochial vicar at Transfiguration Church, Marietta. This assignment is effective July 7.

Other Assignments

Father John Paul C. Ezeonyido has been assigned as a parochial vicar at St. Stephen the Martyr Church, Lilburn, effective June 13.

Father William M. Williams, pastor of Queen of Angels Church, Thomson, has also been appointed as the Spiritual Moderator for the Atlanta Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, effective June 20.
