After losing to The Weber School just eight days earlier by four points on their home court, the Monsignor Donovan High School boys varsity team traveled to Atlanta and defeated the same opponent 55-42, Dec. 9. It was Monsignor Donovan’s first win on the road, ending a seven-game slide.

Both teams were tied at halftime, 20-20. Monsignor Donovan held a slim lead, 36-34, at the end of the third period. With 1:10 remaining in the game, Monsignor Donovan led 48-42. Then the team went on a 7-0 run to seal the victory.
