Marist Swimmers Glide To The Top At Annual Meet

Marist School hosted more than 120 swimming and diving athletes at its aquatic center from Blessed Trinity High School, Roswell, Greater Atlanta Christian School, Norcross, and St. Pius X High School, Atlanta, during its third annual Marist Christmas Invitational Swim and Dive Meet on Dec. 15.

Marist took first place with 856 points (438-girls, 418-boys). Greater Atlanta Christian finished in second place with 498 points (263-girls, 235-boys). St. Pius X finished in third place with 427 points (230-boys, 197-girls). Blessed Trinity held down fourth place with 111 points (107-boys, 104-girls). The meet is spearheaded by Terry Blish, Marist head swimming coach, and Matt Murphy, Marist swimming and diving community coach, a 1995 St. Pius graduate.
