Blessed Trinity Tournament To Honor Student’s Memory
Published diciembre 20, 2007 | Available In English
Blessed Trinity High School will host a basketball tournament for middle school basketball teams on Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 27-29, to honor the memory of Sam Robb, a BT student who died of cancer earlier this year. The Sam Robb Memorial Holiday Classic is a tribute to Robb and his perseverance to be an athlete no matter what obstacles he faced. All proceeds will benefit Cure Childhood Cancer.
The event offers an opportunity for middle school students in the area to participate in games at Blessed Trinity, located at 11320 Woodstock Road, Roswell. So far, 24 boys and girls teams, comprising middle school students from the Catholic Metro League, have registered.
Games will be played from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Dec. 27 and 28 and from noon-7 p.m. on Dec. 29.
