Couples Hear Ways To Restore Time-Starved Marriages
Published December 10, 2009
Fifty-two couples attended the program, which was held at St. Andrew Church in Roswell. There were six presentations along with DVD clips and time for couples to reflect together on and discuss what they heard. As the day unfolded, it became clear that it was possible, with a few changes, for couples to reclaim the time they needed to stay connected, despite the hectic pace of life.
Worldwide Marriage Encounter not only sponsors Marriage Enrichment Days, but also offers married couples a Weekend experience, where they can learn a unique method of communication called “dialogue.” The basic objective on the Weekend is to improve the communication between husband and wife and to provide more insight into what prevents married couples from communicating more effectively. It also helps to bring back the excitement and passion that they experienced during their romance and early years of marriage. The Weekend also gives the couple a greater understanding as to what their sacrament is and how they affect others.
