Jan. 26-Feb. 7, 2024; Georgians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (GFADP) invites priests, deacons and laypeople to host a speaker. This will be the 30th Anniversary GFADP “Journey of Hope Speakers’ Tour.” This event brings murder victims’ family members, exonerees and family members of those on death row to parishes, schools, universities and faith communities all over Georgia. They share powerful stories of their experiences as well as their decision to work to end the death penalty. GFADP is collaborating with Georgia Catholics Against the Death Penalty (GCADP) and the Catholic Mobilizing Network (CMN) to bring speakers to several parishes. GFADP will be having a Zoom meeting on Tue, Sept 26 from 7-8 p.m., for those interested in learning more about hosting a speaker.
