CATHOLIC AND JEWISH COMMUNITIES EXPLORING THE BIBLE TOGETHER
Published October 26, 2025
CATHOLIC AND JEWISH COMMUNITIES EXPLORING THE BIBLE TOGETHER: Mon, Nov. 17; St. Ann Church, 4905 Roswell Road, Marietta. Join the parish as the community explores passages from the Bible through the lenses of different faith traditions. Led by Rabbi Slomovitz and Father Lamartine, each session will include a reading of Scripture, followed by thoughtful explanations from both the Jewish and Catholic perspectives. Together, all will engage in respectful, nonjudgmental dialogue that honors our differences while celebrating shared values. The goal of this group is to foster friendship between the communities, promote mutual understanding and to remind that people of different faiths are often more alike than different.
