  1. UGA student to be Perpetual Pilgrim in National Eucharistic Pilgrimage

    University of Georgia student Jaella Mac Au will join the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage as a Perpetual Pilgrim. She is among 24 young adults who will make a cross-country trek toward the 10th National Eucharistic Congress.

  3. St. Philip Benizi pastor appointed Charlotte’s fifth bishop

    Pope Francis has appointed Father Michael T. Martin, OFM Conv., as bishop of the Diocese of Charlotte. The announcement was made the morning of April 9. Father Martin is pastor of St. Philip Benizi Church in Jonesboro in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

    A new video series featuring several U.S. Catholic bishops will offer what organizers call a “deep dive into the sacred mysteries of the Mass.”  Archbishop Gregory J. Hartmayer of Atlanta will be among the bishops featured in the series, produced by the National Eucharistic Revival.
