Molly Mae Turner Accepted As Postulant
A member of St. Michael the Archangel Church in
Woodstock, Molly Mae Turner has been accepted as a postulant with the Sisters
of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration based in Mishawaka, Ind.
Drawn by
the order's charism, which includes perpetual adoration of the Eucharist and
the active life, Turner, who is 20, will begin study of community life and
Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Franciscan spirituality.
According to the order, Turner credits her parish and the guidance and support
of her pastor, Father Patrick Kingery, with fostering her vocation to Religious
life. Turner has studied music education at Kennesaw State University and has
served the parish as a teacher in the parish school of religion, eucharistic
minister and sponsor for those entering the Catholic Church. She is the
daughter of Scott Turner and Brigid Conway. |
